Snow making systems
90 Percent of the slopes in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl are groomed with artificial snow. This guarantees the ski region's reputation as "most snow-sure wintersports region in the Alps" from a technical point as well.  If both the temperature and the humidity are ideal, the snow making facilities start automatically. Five weather stations in the area provide the necessary detailed information.
